Mensaje de solidaridad con los trabajadores de Battipaglia Los representantes de los trabajadores de Alcatel-Lucent en España y sus organizaciones sindicales, CCOO y UGT, quieren mostrar su solidaridad con los trabajadores de Battipaglia y mandarles su apoyo.
El proyecto industrial presentado por la compañía no tiene credibilidad, al no garantizar el futuro de la fábrica ni en términos de producción ni en términos de empleo.
Además, existen serias dudas sobre el cumplimiento de las leyes italianas en materia de seguridad e higiene en el trabajo, por parte de quien ha decidido la Dirección de Alcatel-Lucent, habría de hacerse con la fábrica, como así ha aparecido en los medios de comunicación de Italia.
Pedimos a la dirección de Alcatel-Lucent que se replantee dicho proyecto industrial y presente uno nuevo que garantice la presencia industrial del grupo en Europa, el empleo y el mantenimiento del know-how. En España hace ya años que no tenemos fábricas dentro del grupo, pero Europa no debería perder la capacidad industrial que aún conserva.
Solidarity message to Battipaglia workers
The workers' representatives of Alcatel-Lucent employees in Spain and their trade unions, CCOO and UGT, wish to show their solidarity with the workers of Battipaglia and send them their support.
The current industrial project presented by the company does not have any credibility as it doesn't guarantee the future of the site in terms of production or employment.
Additionally, there are serious doubts about the compliance of Italian laws in regards to health and security issues by whom management has decided should take ownership of the factory, as covered by the Italian press.
We ask Alcatel-Lucent management to reconsider this industrial project and prepare a new one, guaranteeing the industrial presence of the group in Europe and preserving employement and know-how. In Spain it's been a long time since we don't have any factories inside the group, but Europe should not lose the industrial capacity it still has.
